Hanoi’s agricultural and forestry exports were estimated to
exceed $2 billion in 2025, the Vietnam News Agency quoted the city’s Department of Agriculture and Environment as reporting.

Of the total, key agricultural and food products accounted
for about $1.4 billion, representing the largest share of the sector’s export
turnover. 

The result reflects the effectiveness of Hanoi’s efforts to
expand overseas markets, improve quality standards, strengthen traceability
systems and promote international-standard production models to meet
increasingly stringent import requirements.

Total production value of the agriculture, forestry and
fisheries sector in 2025 was estimated at nearly $70.4 trillion, with
agriculture accounting for 91.02% of the total.
