Hong Kong police have launched an investigation into a fatal traffic accident in Tsing Yi involving a truck driver who died after crashing his vehicle into a road barrier.
A force spokesman said on Monday that police would look into the causes of the morning accident after the 42-year-old driver was pronounced dead at 1pm at Princess Margaret Hospital in Kwai Chung.
“An investigation by the special investigation team of traffic, New Territories South, is under way,” the spokesman said.
